It is powered by 1GHz Dual-core processor and has 512MB RAM. Internal memory offered is also 512MB and can be expanded up to 32GB by microSD card. It has a 2MP primary camera with fixed focus. It lacks secondary camera, autofocus feature, even an LED flash which leaves no scope for taking pictures in the dark. It runs Android OS Jellybean 4.2 which is an upgrade. It has a 1200mAh battery and has Dual SIM card provision. This phone is 3G enabled which adds a point to the Bolt A58. Price 4,600INR.
Micromax is slowly capturing the the low budget smartphone segment. Micromax Bolt A67 has a display size of 854 x 480 pixels, 4.5 inches and offers a TFT touchscreen. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core CPU and has 512MB RAM (twice as much as the Bolt A62). Bolt A67 has 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB by microSD card and sports a Dual SIM functionality. The phone doesn’t support 3G; just 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth. The phone’s got a 2 MP, 1600×1200 pixels primary camera with LED flash and VGA a secondary camera. It runs Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Given the specs, the 1850 mAh battery should give a reasonable up-time. Price 5,500INR.
Micromax Bolt A62 is another entry level smartphone and is budget friendly. It sports a 4 inches 480×320 pixel resolution capacitive screen. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and has 256MB RAM with internal 202MB memory which can be expanded up to 16GB by microSD card. It runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 which is a disappointment as it is many versions behind the latest 4.4 KitKat. It has a spartan 2MP primary camera and has a secondary camera for video calling. Dual SIM card provision has been made. It has a 1350mAh battery. It lacks 3G connectivity. Price 3600INR.
Micromax Bolt A61 is the next handset in the Bolt series. It has 4 inches TFT Full capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 pixel resolution display. It has 1GHz Cortex A5 processor and has a mere 256MB RAM. Internal memory is 512MB which can be expanded up to 16GB by microSD card. It runs Android 4.1. It has a 2MP primary camera with LED flash and has secondary camera allowing users to video call and click selfies. It has a 1500mAh battery and like most of the Micromax phones has Dual SIM card provision. 3G connectivity is enabled adding a little more value to the phone. Price: to be announced.
